Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis implementasi pembelajaran berbasis Smart TV dan implikasinya terhadap motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika. Rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa yang dipengaruhi sifat materi yang abstrak menjadi latar belakang penelitian ini. Penggunaan Smart TV diharapkan mampu menciptakan pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan dukungan data kuantitatif sederhana (pre–post) dalam bentuk studi kasus. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas satu guru dan 30 siswa sekolah menengah. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, angket motivasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa setelah penggunaan Smart TV, dengan rata-rata skor meningkat dari 62,5 (kategori sedang) menjadi 78,3 (kategori tinggi). Peningkatan terlihat pada perhatian, keterlibatan, dan antusiasme siswa. Media visual dan audio melalui Smart TV membantu pemahaman konsep matematika abstrak sehingga berdampak positif terhadap motivasi belajar. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa Smart TV dapat menjadi alternatif media pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa.
